Dharwad, Oct. 9: The ‘Navaratri Dandiya Mahotsav-2026’ was celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Sattur.
- Smt. Vedavati Kulkarni, Pranta Karyavahika of Rashtra Sevika Samiti, attended the event as the Chief Guest. In contrast, Dr. Sukumari, Assistant Professor in the Department of Naturopathy at SDM University, attended as the guest of honour.
- Students accorded a warm and traditional welcome to the guests by escorting them to the stage in a procession.
- Teachers from Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra beautifully reflected the spiritual significance of Navaratri by dressing up as the nine forms of Goddess Durga (Navadurga).
- A total of 25 teams, comprising parents and members of the public, participated in the Dandiya celebrations.
- Dressed in colourful traditional attire, the participants entertained the audience with their spirited performances, rhythmic movements, and excellent coordination.
- The school’s teaching and non-teaching staff also presented a special Dandiya dance performance.
- Food stalls added to the festive spirit.
- Devotional songs and traditional music were presented.
- Prizes were awarded to the teams securing the first, second, and third places. Recognising the enthusiasm and talent of all 25 participating teams, they were all honoured with awards.
ಧಾರವಾಡ, ಅ. 9: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಸತ್ತೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ‘ನವರಾತ್ರಿ ದಾಂಡಿಯಾ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವ-2026’ ಅನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
- ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಸೇವಿಕಾ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಂತ ಕಾರ್ಯವಾಹಿಕಾ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ವೇದವತಿ ಕುಲಕರ್ಣಿ ಅವರು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಎಸ್‌ಡಿಎಂ (SDM) ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕಿ ಡಾ. ಸುಕುಮಾರಿ ಅವರು ಗೌರವ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
- ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಅತಿಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ವೇದಿಕೆಗೆ ಕರೆತರುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆತ್ಮೀಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಸ್ವಾಗತವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು.
- ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿಯರು ದೇವತೆ ದುರ್ಗೆಯ ಒಂಬತ್ತು ರೂಪಗಳ (ನವದುರ್ಗೆ) ವೇಷಭೂಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ, ನವರಾತ್ರಿಯ ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸಿದರು.
- ಪೋಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡ ಒಟ್ಟು 25 ತಂಡಗಳು ದಾಂಡಿಯಾ ಆಚರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡವು.
- ವರ್ಣರಂಜಿತ ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಉಡುಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವವರು, ತಮ್ಮ ಲವಲವಿಕೆಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ, ಲಯಬದ್ಧ ಚಲನೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಸಮನ್ವಯದ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ರಂಜಿಸಿದರು.
- ಶಾಲೆಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಬೋಧಕೇತರ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಕೂಡ ವಿಶೇಷ ದಾಂಡಿಯಾ ನೃತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
- ಆಹಾರ ಮಳಿಗೆಗಳು ಹಬ್ಬದ ಉತ್ಸಾಹವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿದವು.
- ಭಕ್ತಿಗೀತೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಸಂಗೀತವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
- ಮೊದಲ, ಎರಡನೇ ಮತ್ತು ಮೂರನೇ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಪಡೆದ ತಂಡಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಹುಮಾನಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ 25 ತಂಡಗಳ ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಯನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ, ಅವೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
