Dharwad, Aug. 15: Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Sattur celebrated its 80th Independence Day.
- The program was graced by the presence of Sri Nilgirippa Gowdanayak as the Chief Guest.
- After singing Vande Mataram, the national flag was hoisted, and the national anthem was sung.
- The students took out a disciplined parade.
- A cultural program featuring patriotic songs and dance performances was held.
- The students dressed up as different freedom fighters and national heroes and depicted their lives, courage and contributions to the nation.
- The chief guest shared inspiring experiences of his military service. These included his experiences during the 1965 Indo-Pakistan war and the hardships he faced after being captured by Pakistani soldiers.
- School reporter Sri Gururaj Agadi spoke about the remarkable service and achievements of the chief guest in his presidential address. He highlighted the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and soldiers and reminded the students of their responsibility towards the nation.
ಧಾರವಾಡ, ಆ. 15: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಸತ್ತೂರು 80ನೇ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಿತು.
- ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನೀಲಗಿರಿಯಪ್ಪ ಗೌಡನಾಯಕ್ ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
- ವಂದೇ ಮಾತರಂ ಹಾಡಿದ ಬಳಿಕ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಧ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಡಲಾಯಿತು.
- ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಶಿಸ್ತುಬದ್ಧ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.
- ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿ ಹಾಡುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ನೃತ್ಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
- ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ವಿಭಿನ್ನ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರು ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ವೀರರಂತೆ ವೇಷ ಧರಿಸಿ, ಅವರ ಜೀವನ, ಧೈರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಚಿತ್ರಿಸಿದರು.
- ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಿಲಿಟರಿ ಸೇವೆಯ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ಅನುಭವಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ 1965 ರ ಭಾರತ-ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನ ಯುದ್ಧದ ಅನುಭವಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನಿ ಸೈನಿಕರಿಂದ ಸೆರೆಹಿಡಿಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ನಂತರ ಅವರು ಎದುರಿಸಿದ ಕಷ್ಟಗಳು ಸೇರಿದ್ದವು.
- ಶಾಲಾ ವರದಿಗಾರ ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರುರಾಜ್ ಅಗಡಿ ಅವರು ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೀಯ ನುಡಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯ ಗಮನಾರ್ಹ ಸೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಧನೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ನಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರು ಮತ್ತು ಸೈನಿಕರ ತ್ಯಾಗಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅವರ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸಿದರು.
