Dharwad, June 5: World Environment Day was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Sattur.
Students performed a short play on the theme “Avoid Plastic – Save the Environment”.
Students gave a speech on environmental protection and students brought saplings from home and planted them in the school premises.
ಧಾರವಾಡ, ಜೂ. 5: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಸತ್ತೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
“ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಅನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ – ಪರಿಸರವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿ” ಎಂದ ವಿಷಯದ ಕುರಿತು ಕಿರುನಾಟಕವನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.
ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಿದರು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ಸಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಂದು ಶಾಲಾ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಟ್ಟರು.
