July 29: Guru Purnima was celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra \u2013 Sattur. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Social worker, Hubli, Sri Janamejaya was the Chief Guest for the program.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students delivered inspiring speeches highlighting the importance of the Guru.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cultural programs including captivating dance, meaningful mini-drama depicting Guru-Shishya tradition and melodious performance of \u02bbGuru Ashtakam\u02bc emphasising the invaluable role of Guru were presented.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Chief Guest, addressing the gathering, spoke about the rich \u02bbGuru-Shishya tradition of ancient India and explained the importance of Gurus through examples from our great epics and Indian culture.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a token of gratitude and respect, students performed foot worship to the chief guests during the program.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As part of the celebration, all the students performed
