\nAround 140 teachers of Hindi, Science and Mathematics from nine North Cluster schools, namely RVK Dharwad, Davangere, Hagaribommanahalli, Haveri, Hangal, Kerur, Ballari, Kalaburagi and Sattur participated in the programme.
\n\u2022 The objective of this orientation was to enhance the professional competencies of teachers, strengthen their subject knowledge and equip them with innovative teaching methods compatible with competency-based and value-based education.
\n\u2022 Each day started with Yoga, Bhajan and Katha Prasang to foster physical well-being, cultural awareness and spiritual enrichment among the participants.
\nDay One:
\n\u2022 Common sessions were held for all the participants. These sessions focused on the vision and mission of the Rashtrotthana Parishath, value-based education, the role of teachers in nation building, effective classroom practices, student engagement, focus and learning and the importance of continuous professional development.
\n\u2022 Resource persons shared practical insights and motivated teachers to adopt learner-centred and activity-based teaching methods.
\nDay Two & Three:
\n\u2022 Subject-specific sessions were devoted to Hindi, Science and Mathematics.
\n\u2022 Experienced resource persons conducted interactive workshops on competency-based teaching, experiential learning, lesson planning, classroom activities, assessment strategies, effective questioning techniques and innovative teaching practices.
\n\u2022 Teachers actively participated in discussions, collaborative activities, demonstrations and exchange of best classroom practices.
\nThe event provided an excellent platform for teachers from different schools to collaborate, share experiences and learn from each other. The interactive environment encouraged professional networking and the exchange of innovative ideas to improve classroom teaching and student learning outcomes.<\/p>\n

Dharwad, July 9-11: Teacher Orientation Programme – II for the academic year 2026-27 was organised at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra \u2013 Sattur.
