Yugadi Festival Celebration in RVK – Sattur
Dharwad, Mar. 18: Yugadi festival was celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Sattur. Sri Dundappa Badalakkanavar was the Chief Guest. Students presented a song and dance reflecting the joy of the new year. Students spoke and highlighted the importance of Yugadi and the ideals of Hedgewar Ji. Speaking, the Chief Guest explained that according to the Hindu calendar, Yugadi marks a new beginning, symbolising hope, renewal and positivity.
Matrumilana Program at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Sattur
Dharwad, Mar. 14: A Matrimilan program was organized herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Sattur. The chief guests were Smt. Mrinal Joshi and Sri Ashok Sonkar. Smt. Mrinal Joshi spoke about the role of mothers in a child’s education and beautifully explained that parents should not only expect marks from their children. Instead, they should encourage their interests, talents and skills. She stressed the importance of spending quality time with children and advised parents to avoid excessive screen time.
RVK – Sattur Observes Science Week
Sattur, Feb. 26: Science Week was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Sattur. Every day, students performed interesting experiments and gave thoughtful speeches on great scientists. On the concluding day, children performed a skit and dance showcasing India’s contributions to space science.
Vibrant Holi Festivities at RVK – Sattur
Dharwad, Mar. 2: Holi festival was celebrated here in Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Sattur. The program started with traditional puja and kamadahana. Assistant teacher Sri Jagadish explained the importance of Holi festival, the mythological story related to the festival and the ethics behind it. At the end, prasad was distributed to everyone.
RVK – Sattur Celebrated Mahashivaratri
Dharwad, Feb. 13: Maha Shivaratri festival was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Sattur. Linga Puja was performed as part of the program. The students sang the Lingashtakam chant with devotion. The children performed beautiful dances and devotional songs praising the glory of Shiva in a touching manner. It was especially special when the little children dressed up as Shiva-Parvati and came to the stage.

Dharwad, Jan. 23: Vasant Panchami was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Sattur. The program started with Sharada Puja. Gokulam grandparents were invited and it was special that grandparents came from far away for the program.

Dharwad, Jan. 19: The school celebrated Purandaradasa Jayanti herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Sattur. The students explained the life and contributions of Saint Purandaradasa. And presented Purandaradasa Kirtan. All the students of class 2C presented a devotional song.
