Dharwad, Oct 23: Kittur Rani Chennamma Jayanti was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Sattur. The program started with flower offering and prayers. Students gave speeches on the life of Kittur Rani Chennamma, her significant, role in the freedom struggle and her extraordinary courage. Class 5 children acted out the scenario of the British going to Chennamma’s court and asking for kappa in the form of drama.
ಧಾರವಾಡ, ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 23: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಸತ್ತೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಿತ್ತೂರು ರಾಣಿ ಚೆನ್ನಮ್ಮ ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಪುಷ್ಪಾರ್ಪಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಕಿತ್ತೂರು ರಾಣಿ ಚೆನ್ನಮ್ಮನ ಜೀವನ, ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವಳ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಪಾತ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಅಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಧೈರ್ಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಭಾಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು. 5ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಚೆನ್ನಮ್ಮನ ಆಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷರು ತೆರಳಿ ಕಪ್ಪ ಕೇಳುವ ಸನ್ನಿವೇಶವನ್ನು ನಾಟಕ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.
