Dharwad, July 29: Guru Purnima was celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Sattur. Social worker, Hubli, Sri Janamejaya was the Chief Guest for the program.
- Students delivered inspiring speeches highlighting the importance of the Guru.
- Cultural programs including captivating dance, meaningful mini-drama depicting Guru-Shishya tradition and melodious performance of ʻGuru Ashtakamʼ emphasising the invaluable role of Guru were presented.
- The Chief Guest, addressing the gathering, spoke about the rich ʻGuru-Shishya tradition of ancient India and explained the importance of Gurus through examples from our great epics and Indian culture.
- As a token of gratitude and respect, students performed foot worship to the chief guests during the program.
- As part of the celebration, all the students performed foot worship to their parents at home, recognizing them as their first teachers, and shared those moments with the school.
ಧಾರವಾಡ, ಜು. 29: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಸತ್ತೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರು ಪೂರ್ಣಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಸಮಾಜಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು, ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿ ಅವರು ಶ್ರೀ ಜನಮೇಜಯ ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
- ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಗುರುವಿನ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸುವ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ಭಾಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರು.
- ಆಕರ್ಷಕ ನೃತ್ಯ, ಗುರು-ಶಿಷ್ಯ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯವನ್ನು ಚಿತ್ರಿಸುವ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಕಿರುನಾಟಕ ಮತ್ತು ಗುರುವಿನ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿಹೇಳುವ ʼಗುರು ಅಷ್ಟಕಂʼನ ಸುಮಧುರ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
- ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿ, ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ ಭಾರತದ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತ ʼಗುರು-ಶಿಷ್ಯ ಪರಂಪರೆʼ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ಮಹಾನ್ ಮಹಾಕಾವ್ಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಗುರುಗಳ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
- ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಗೌರವದ ಸಂಕೇತವಾಗಿ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪಾದ ಪೂಜೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
- ಆಚರಣೆಯ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪೋಷಕರಿಗೆ ಪಾದ ಪೂಜೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಮೊದಲ ಗುರುಗಳು ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಶಾಲೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು.
