Dharwad, July 25: Kargil Vijay Diwas was celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Sattur. Kargil War veteran Sri Suresh Yarigoppa was present as the Chief Guest.
- Students highlighted the importance of Kargil Vijay Diwas in their speech.
- Students presented patriotic songs, patriotic dances and a meaningful skit depicting the courage, sacrifice and enthusiasm of the soldiers during the Kargil War.
- The Chief Guest encouraged the students with his inspiring and motivational words to dedicate themselves to the service of the nation in their own way. Sharing his personal experiences of the Kargil War, he explained the challenges, courage and sacrifices made by the soldiers while protecting our country.
- As a token of gratitude and respect, students who have parents currently serving in the Indian Armed Forces and parents of retired army personnel were given gratitude cards.
On this occasion, a ‘Best Out of Waste’ competition was organized for mothers in the school.
- Around 25 mothers participated enthusiastically in the competition and showcased their creativity by preparing beautiful and useful articles from waste materials.
ಧಾರವಾಡ, ಜು. 25: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಸತ್ತೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಗಿಲ್ ವಿಜಯ್ ದಿವಸ್ ಅನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಗಿಲ್ ಯುದ್ಧದ ಯೋಧ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುರೇಶ್ ಯರಿಗೊಪ್ಪಾ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
- ಕಾರ್ಗಿಲ್ ವಿಜಯ್ ದಿವಸ್ನ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು.
- ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿ ಗೀತೆ, ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿ ನೃತ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಗಿಲ್ ಯುದ್ಧದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೈನಿಕರ ಧೈರ್ಯ, ತ್ಯಾಗ ಮತ್ತು ಉತ್ಸಾಹವನ್ನು ಬಿಂಬಿಸುವ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಕಿರುನಾಟಕವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರೇರಕ ಮಾತುಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮದೇ ಆದ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಾವು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಗಿಲ್ ಯುದ್ಧದ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಅನುಭವಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡ ಅವರು, ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವಾಗ ಸೈನಿಕರು ಮಾಡಿದ ಸವಾಲುಗಳು, ಧೈರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ತ್ಯಾಗಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
- ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಗೌರವದ ಸಂಕೇತವಾಗಿ, ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಶಸ್ತ್ರ ಪಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಪೋಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಸೇನಾ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪೋಷಕರಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.
ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಾಯಂದಿರಿಗಾಗಿ ʼಕಸದಿಂದ ರಸ’ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆʼಯನ್ನು ಸಹ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
- ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು 25 ತಾಯಂದಿರು ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ, ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ವಸ್ತುಗಳಿಂದ ಸುಂದರವಾದ ಉಪಯುಕ್ತ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ತಮ್ಮ ಸೃಜನಶೀಲತೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.
