Sattur, Feb. 26: Science Week was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Sattur. Every day, students performed interesting experiments and gave thoughtful speeches on great scientists. On the concluding day, children performed a skit and dance showcasing India’s contributions to space science. Students sang science-themed songs. School correspondent Sri Gururaj Agadi addressed the gathering and highlighted the extraordinary journey of Indian science. He spoke about how 50 years ago there were no mobile phones and today science has empowered us to travel on land, water and space.
ಸತ್ತೂರು, ಫೆ. ೨೬: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಸತ್ತೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಪ್ತಾಹವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಪ್ರತಿದಿನವೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಆಸಕ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ಪ್ರಯೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರು ಹಾಗೂ ಮಹಾನ್ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಚಿಂತನಶೀಲ ಭಾಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು. ಸಮಾರೋಪದ ದಿನ ಕಿರುನಾಟಕ, ಬಾಹ್ಯಾಕಾಶ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಭಾರತದ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸುವ ನೃತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿಷಯಾಧಾರಿತ ಹಾಡುಗಳನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಡಿದರು. ಶಾಲಾ ವರದಿಗಾರರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರುರಾಜ್ ಅಗಡಿ ಅವರು ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಭಾರತೀಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನದ ಅಸಾಧಾರಣ ಪ್ರಯಾಣವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು. 50 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಫೋನ್ಗಳು ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ಇಂದು ವಿಜ್ಞಾನವು ಭೂಮಿ, ನೀರು ಮತ್ತು ಬಾಹ್ಯಾಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಸಲು ನಮಗೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ನೀಡಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದರ ಕುರಿತು ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
