Dharwad, Mar. 2: Holi festival was celebrated here in Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Sattur. The program started with traditional puja and kamadahana. Assistant teacher Sri Jagadish explained the importance of Holi festival, the mythological story related to the festival and the ethics behind it. At the end, prasad was distributed to everyone.
ಧಾರವಾಡ, ಮಾ. 2: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಸತ್ತೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಳಿ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಪೂಜೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾಮದಹನದ ಮೂಲಕ ಆರಂಭಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಸಹಾಯಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಜಗದೀಶ್ ಅವರು ಹೋಳಿಹಬ್ಬದ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವವನ್ನು, ಹಬ್ಬಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಪೌರಾಣಿಕ ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಅದರ ಹಿಂದಿನ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಪ್ರಸಾದವನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
