Dharwad, Feb. 13: Maha Shivaratri festival was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Sattur. Linga Puja was performed as part of the program. The students sang the Lingashtakam chant with devotion. The children performed beautiful dances and devotional songs praising the glory of Shiva in a touching manner. It was especially special when the little children dressed up as Shiva-Parvati and came to the stage. On this occasion, the respected Convenor of the school, Sri Gururaja Agadi and the Principal Acharya, Sri Ramakrishna, wholeheartedly appreciated the talent of the students and participated in the Mangalarati program and encouraged the children.
ಧಾರವಾಡ, ಫೆ. 13: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಸತ್ತೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾಶಿವರಾತ್ರಿ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಲಿಂಗಪೂಜೆ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಲಿಂಗಾಷ್ಟಕಂ ಪಠಣವನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿದರು. ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಶಿವನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾರುವ ಸುಂದರ ನೃತ್ಯಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಭಕ್ತಿಗೀತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮನಮುಟ್ಟುವಂತೆ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಪುಟ್ಟ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಶಿವ–ಪಾರ್ವತಿ ವೇಷಧಾರಣೆ ಮಾಡಿ ವೇದಿಕೆಗೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿತ್ತು.ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ಸಂಚಾಲಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರುರಾಜ ಅಗಡಿಯವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಆಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣ ಅವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಯನ್ನು ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿ, ಮಂಗಳಾರತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹ ನೀಡಿದರು.
