Dharwad, Oct 17: Valmiki Jayanti was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Sattur. The children told the inspiring story of Ratnakara’s biography and how he got the great name of Valmiki. Children sang songs related to Valmiki on this occasion.
ಧಾರವಾಡ, ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 17: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಸತ್ತೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಲ್ಮೀಕಿ ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ರತ್ನಾಕರನ ಜೀವನಚರಿತ್ರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನು ವಾಲ್ಮೀಕಿ ಎಂಬ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಹೆಸರು ಹೇಗೆ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡನೆಂಬ ಪ್ರೇರಕ ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ವಾಲ್ಮೀಕಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಹಾಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿದರು.
