Dharwad, Feb. 21: ‘Mother tongue Day’ program was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Sattur. In the program, class II students presented a song on mother tongue. School students who speak various mother tongues presented a speech in their mother tongue on the importance of mother tongue. Prachi Nishanimath explained about the history of mother tongue and its practice.
ಧಾರವಾಡ, ಫೆ. 21: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಸತ್ತೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ʼಮಾತೃ ಭಾಷಾ ದಿವಸʼ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತೃಭಾಷೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ಎರಡನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಮಾತೃಭಾಷೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಕುರಿತು ವಿವಿಧ ರೀತಿಯ ಮಾತೃಭಾಷೆಯನ್ನಾಡುವ ಶಾಲಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಾತೃಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಷಣ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಮಾತೃಭಾಷೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಅದರ ಆಚರಣೆಯ ಇತಿಹಾಸದ ಕುರಿತು ಪ್ರಾಚಿ ನಿಶಾನಿಮಠ್ ವಿವರಿಸಿದಳು.
