“Everyone should have a goal in life. A Guru’s guidance is needed to achieve that goal” – Sri Ganapathi Bhat. Dharwad, July 22: Gurupurnima was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Sattur. Shri Ganapati Bhat, a senior Music and Sanskrit scholar, was graced the program.The students paid their respects to the senior teachers and guest, Sri Ganapati Bhat by performing Pada Pooja. Sri Ganapati Bhat taught the children Shlokas and spoke inspirational words.The program featured Guruvashtakam, short performances on Eklavya and Dronacharya, and a children’s masquerade competition as its main attractions.

“ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರಿಗೂ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಗುರಿ ಇರಬೇಕು. ಆ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸಲು ಗುರುವಿನ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ಬೇಕು” – ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣಪತಿ ಭಟ್. ಧಾರವಾಡ, ಜುಲೈ 22: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ, ಸತ್ತೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುಪೂರ್ಣಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಹಿರಿಯ ಸಂಗೀತ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ವಿದ್ವಾಂಸರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣಪತಿ ಭಟ್ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಹಿರಿಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣಪತಿ ಭಟ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪಾದಪೂಜೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಗೌರವ ಸೂಚಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣಪತಿ ಭಟ್ ಅವರು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಶ್ಲೋಕಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ಪೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ನುಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಗುರುವಷ್ಟಕಮ್, ಏಕಲವ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ದ್ರೋಣಾಚಾರ್ಯರ ಕಿರುನಾಟಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಛದ್ಮವೇಷದ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ವಿಶೇಷತೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು.
