Dharwad, Aug. 12: Dr. Vikram Sarabhai Jayanti and Library Day were celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Sattur. Students shared insights on Vikram Sarabhai’s contributions and the importance of the hobby of reading books. A special quiz was conducted on the sky and science. A student said that books and science are like rockets. They are the means to take us to the heights of knowledge.
ಧಾರವಾಡ, ಆ. 12: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಸತ್ತೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಡಾ. ವಿಕ್ರಂ ಸಾರಾಭಾಯ್ ಜಯಂತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ವಿಕ್ರಮ್ ಸಾರಾಭಾಯಿ ಅವರ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಹಾಗೂ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಓದುವುದರ ಹವ್ಯಾಸದ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವದ ಒಳನೋಟವನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಆಕಾಶ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನದ ಕುರಿತ ವಿಶೇಷ ರಸಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಒಬ್ಬ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ವಿಜ್ಞಾನವು ರಾಕೆಟ್ ನಂತೆ. ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾನದ ಎತ್ತರಕ್ಕೆ ಒಯ್ಯುವ ಸಾಧನವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದನು.
